    Our Mission

    Florida Death with Dignity, a 501(c)(3) non-profit grass roots movement, is dedicated to educate, promote, and raise awareness in individuals, organizations, and communities resulting in support for a medical aid in dying law in Florida.  We are partnered with the Death with Dignity National Center.
    ANNOUNCEMENT 01/14/2024:  The Death with Dignity Act, SB1642, was filed by Senator Torres and assigned to the Senate Health Policy committee.  The Florida End-of-Life Options Act, HB561, was filed by Representative Campbell and assigned to the Healthcare Regulation Subcommittee. This is a first for Florida to have medical aid-in-dying bills in both the House and Senate two years in a row! If you agree that Medical Aid-in-Dying should be legal in Florida, then please send 4 emails as follows: House committee  Chairperson Michelle Salzman ([email protected])  and Co-Chair Kimberly Berfield ([email protected]) and ask them to “please add HB561, The Florida End of Life Options Act, to the Healthcare Regulation Subcommittee’s agenda to be discussed by its members.”  Please use “Florida End of Life Options Act, HB561” as your subject title, and sign with your name and city. Senate committee  Chairperson Colleen Burton ([email protected])  and Co-Chair Jason Brodeur ([email protected]) and ask them to “please add SB1642, The Death with Dignity Act, to the Health Policy Committee’s agenda to be discussed by its members.”  Please use “Death with Dignity Act, SB1642” as your subject title, and sign with your name and city.
