From the Top (November 2024)

The VHA provides multiple opportunities for our residents to become informed about every aspect of living in our community. You will have noticed that we have expanded our focus. We have begun to provide opportunities for residents to learn about the possibilities of increasing health span. That is correct. We are providing you with information through collaborative efforts which may allow residents to live happy and healthy lifestyles longer, through prevention.

At our November 15^th Health and Wellness Expo at the Rohan Recreation Center from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, we will have a variety of sponsors providing information on a wide range of topics, from dementia to estate planning and from nutrition to hearing loss. We will be providing eight breakout speaker sessions on seven topics. Due to the overwhelming interest at our 2023 expo, Dr. Curtis will provide two sessions titled “Be Alzheimer’s Aware”.
