Happy New Year to everyone! I hope the holiday season was good for each one of you. Now we get down to the traditional resolutions. I will lose the five pounds I gained over the holiday season. I will start an exercise program. I will spend less time with my face glued to a screen. I will call my neighbor who is unable to get out. I will start being careful about my diet. All these resolutions are admirable. The only problem is that we forget early in the new year.

We fail with resolutions because we are human. It is easy to continue with old habits. I am guilty. I intend to work hard to be a solid citizen in 2025. I plan to have a cheerful outlook and give back to a community that provides unlimited access to good.

The VHA will continue to provide the quality programs already available. Our schedule is set with programming based on the residents’ input. Our website will continue to be our focus in 2025. We will continue to provide information regularly and expand our information sources. We will partner with agencies that positively impact the community and search for opportunities for enhancement. As the community grows, the VHA will also grow.

Nothing is free. Our cost of operation continues to grow. The VHA is a 501(c)(3) IRS-registered non-profit organization. You can support our efforts to ensure and enhance the beauty of our community by visiting our website at TheVHA.net. Your donations are tax deductible and are certainly welcome.

I hope your new year is safe and productive. Get Involved and Make a Difference!
