The Villages Homeowners Advocates (VHA) Foundation is pleased to announce it has granted $2,500 to Our Moment Café, Inc. The Our Moment Cafe’s mission is to provide a safe and supportive social environment for caregivers residing within The Villages, along with those they care for with early-stage memory loss due to Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Moments together can create precious memories for both the participant and the caregiver through monthly interactive and entertaining events held at both Chula Vista and Bacall Recreation Centers in The Villages.
According to Foundation Chair Gail Royster, the VHA has supported Our Moment Café since its inception in 2019, both via volunteer hours and financial contributions, and she sees this as another opportunity to “Get Involved, Make a Difference”.
