Social media is electronic communication in which people create online communities to share information, ideas and other content with one another.

What is social networking?
Social networking is the act of creating and maintaining relationships online. You’re in the driver’s seat; you get to choose with whom you connect and communicate. The connections and relationships you build and maintain online can still be personal, purposeful and meaningful.
