Get Involved, Make a Difference: The Villages Air Gun Club

The VHA theme is Get Involved, Make a Difference. This month, we are talking about The Villages Air Gun Club.

The mission of The Villages Air Gun Club is to foster development of air gun shooting by providing opportunities for members and guests. The Club provides a safe venue for shooting, organized shooting competitions, fellowship, good sportsmanship, and opportunities for family activities while keeping firearm safety paramount in pursuit of all these activities.

The Club meets in March, June, September, and December, on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm at the Sea Breeze Recreation Center.

To join The Villages Air Gun Club (annual dues are $15.00), see a club officer at a club meeting or any of the club shoots listed below:

  • Soaring Eagle Range, 4396 Morse Boulevard, on Mondays and Tuesdays between 9:00am and 10:30am.
  • Sugar Cane Range, 2618 Fenney Way, on Wednesdays between 9:00am and 11:00am.
  • Rio Grande Air Gun Range, 1216 Rio Grande Boulevard, on Thursdays and Fridays between 9:00am and 10:30am.

You can check out a rifle or pistol at the Recreation Centers listed below. You will need to sign a release and attend safety training. Guns, targets, and ammo are free.
