
For those special occasions when you just gotta get your chocolate fix.
Cooks right in the mug! Ready in 1 minute!
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp flour (I use King Arthur Bread Flour, white whole wheat)
- 2 tsp sugar (I use monk fruit sweetener)
- 2 tsp unsweetened cacao powder
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 2 Tbsp unsweetened almond milk
- 1 Tbsp unsweetened applesauce
- 1-2 Tbsp raw cacao chips (optional)
- 1 Tbsp peanut butter (I use PB2 powder to save on fat and calories)
Instructions
- Whisk all dry ingredients in a large coffee mug until uniform
- Add wet ingredients and PB2 powder mix to form a smooth batter
- Stir in cacao chips (if using)
- Microwave for 1 minute; less time if you prefer a lava-style consistency.
