For those special occasions when you just gotta get your chocolate fix.

Cooks right in the mug!  Ready in 1 minute!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp flour (I use King Arthur Bread Flour, white whole wheat)
  • 2 tsp sugar (I use monk fruit sweetener)
  • 2 tsp unsweetened cacao powder
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  •  pinch of salt
  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened applesauce
  • 1-2 Tbsp raw cacao chips (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp peanut butter (I use PB2 powder to save on fat and calories)

Instructions

  1. Whisk all dry ingredients in a large coffee mug until uniform
  2. Add wet ingredients and PB2 powder mix to form a smooth batter
  3. Stir in cacao chips (if using)
  4. Microwave for 1 minute; less time if you prefer a lava-style consistency.
