We Need Your Assistance
I have recently discussed with members of our Board of Directors the necessity of seeking community members to serve on our Community Development District Boards. These discussions focused on good governance, ensuring, and enhancing our community’s infrastructure. Amazingly, there are community members who disagree with this approach.
The VHA’s mission is to provide positive, constructive dialogue, solve problems, provide education, and be philanthropic. We at the VHA believe a positive attitude is essential for those serving our community’s needs. Does that mean we agree with everything? No. However, we work through the issues and provide a positive influence.
Why do we need your assistance? There are often open seats on CDD boards. We ask you to know which CDD you live in and that you attend a meeting of your local CDD Board. Become familiar. After all, the CDD board does spend your maintenance fees and influences your amenity fee expenditures.
Currently, there are two open seats in Community Development District #1 and Community Development District #6. If you live in CDD#1 or CDD#6 and are interested in serving on these boards or would like information on what is involved, should you accept the position, contact me. My email address is [email protected].
We believe it necessary to ensure that our community remains the beautiful and vibrant place where you purchased a home. The VHA can help if you would like to participate in the positive decision-making process in the community.
I will look forward to your email!
