VHA Foundation – Check Presentation to Our Moment Cafe

Peggy Fiore, Chairperson of The Villages Homeowners Advocates (VHA) Foundation, presents a check to Richard Boyden and Joan Bender, founders of Our Moment Cafe, Inc. to support the operation of their two monthly memory cafes in The Villages. The cafes offer an opportunity to socialize in a safe and comfortable environment for The Villages caregivers and their loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Over the past three years, the cafe programs at Chula Vista and Bacall Recreations centers have served over 500 participants.Â
