As we begin the new year, we’ve got some exciting January events planned for the South Area. On January 23 we are offering the opportunity to hear from the representatives of the Community Development District, the City of Leesburg and Lake County about the services all three of these governments provide.
If you are a new resident of the villages of Newell, Lake Denham, or Dabney, you may wish to attend as you are residents of the City of Leesburg and Lake County. The meeting is open to all village residents and begins at 6pm at Ezell Recreation Center. Please ensure you bring your village ID card for entry. You may register for the event by going to the VHA website (thevha.net) and select the January 23rd event under the events tab.
On January 25th where offering another very popular program titled “Where Does Your Money Go”? Representatives from the Community Development District will explain what your amenity fee pays for and what it does not pay for. It’s a great opportunity to fully understand the amenity fee process. This event will also be held at Ezell Recreation Center and begins at 6:00 PM. You may also register for this event by going to the VHA website and selecting the January 25th event under the events tab. This event is also open to all VHA members and non-members.
