SUMTER COUNTY SHERIFF

15th Annual Charity for Youth Golf Tournament

What – Golf Charity for Youth of Sumter County

When – Saturday June 15, 2013

Where – Evans Prairie Golf & Country Club

Fifteen years ago, Sumter County Sheriff Bill Farmer began holding the Charity for Youth Golf Tournament to raise money to help the youth of Sumter County.  Through the years, the funds realized from this popular event have provided scholarships, promoted sports programs and community projects to benefit young people.

This year’s event is kicking-off at Evans Prairie Golf and Country Club with shotgun starts at 7:45 am and 1:00 pm.

The early morning flight will find a Continental Breakfast waiting for them, and lunch will be available for the afternoon flight before their tee off time.

Registration for the Charity for Youth Golf Tournament will begin April 15 at Evans Prairie Pro Shop.  Complete information and registration forms can also be picked up at the Sumter County Sheriff’s Annex at Hwy. 466 & Morse Blvd.

A Hole in One Prize Car sponsored by Phillips Buick and a Hole in One Prize Golf Car sponsored by The Villages Golf Cars are just two of the many prizes waiting for participants in this year’s event.

Sponsorship for this event is still open, and that form is also available at the Sheriff’s Annex.

For the convenience of both sponsors and golfers, Sheriff Farmer’s office has arranged for the forms to be received by email.  Just call Theresa Cooper at 352-689-4600 with your request.

As a sponsor or player you can help provide educational and beneficial community activities for the young people of Sumter County.
