“An Evening with The Developer” Next Week

Villages Homeowners Association Members are invited to “An Evening with The Developer” presentation on Wednesday, May 11th 7 p.m. at the Savannah Center  and receive free tickets at all Villages’ Box Office locations on a first come basis to VHA residents.

“An Evening with The Developer” features Mark Morse’s annual update on what’s happening in The Villages, highlights from the last year, and new developments planned for the next few years.  In past annual updates The Developer has also introduced new programs and initiatives, and few surprises, such as the first viewing of V-mail, the history of the original Brownwood and plans for the new Brownwood Town Square in The Villages, and healthcare programs.  Mr. Morse has invited his sisters Jennifer Parr and Tracy Matthews in recent years, who gave updates on their families in The Villages, as well as, their progress in Sales and Marketing of The Villages and design for the new Brownwood and future facilities.

This year’s “An Evening with The Developer” comes amidst a period of great anticipation and many changes in amenities, facilities and initiatives, as The Villages enters its fourth quarter of development and building.  Much of the infrastructure south of CR466A is in place and residents may gain some insight into the finishing touches coming for the world’s premier 55-plus community along with the final 10,000 homes, sports and recreation facilities, commercial and retail businesses, healthcare services and new town square.

In order to receive free “An Evening with The Developer” tickets, residents will be required to show their VHA membership card and resident ID card at the box office.   The box office has resident data and may issue tickets up to the number of residents in a household.

“An Evening with The Developer” in recent years has been one of the most well-attended programs in The Villages.  The distribution of free tickets for the May 11th presentation is an effort to provide assurance of seating for the many hundreds of VHA residents desiring to have a first-hand report from the Developer without having to wait in long lines for extended periods.  The entire Savannah Center is dedicated to the presentation this year with comprehensive audio and video coverage throughout for attendees’ convenience.
