I retired from owning and operating a computer store for thirty-three years in Urbana, Ohio. For over forty years I was an active member of both Urbana Rotary Club and the Urbana United Methodist Church. I served as past president of Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Red Cross, and the local Flying Club.
My wife Constance and I became residents of Lake Deaton in 2014. Currently, I am on the board of Vietnam Veterans Chapter 1036, a member of EAA Chapter 534, a Lake Deaton representative for the VHA, and I participate in the services at Lake Deaton United Methodist Church. I have attended the Villages Resident Academy.
I enjoy giving EAA Young Eagles rides to introduce kids to flying, and taking aerial photographs of The Villages from my J-3 Piper Cub to then post on Talk of The Villages. And, I am hooked on pickleball!
