The Lake County Clerk’s Office has resumed operations at The Village Green, located at 902 Avenida Central, Lady Lake, The Villages.  It is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed from noon to 1:00 p.m.) to process passports and marriages licenses. For marriage license processing you do not need an appointment.  Passports will be processed by appointment only.  To schedule an appointment, visit:

BJ’s is coming to our area.  It will be located on North US Hwy 441/27 behind WAWA, near Lowe’s.  If you are not familiar with BJ’s, it is an American membership-only warehouse club chain based in Westborough, Massachusetts, operating on the East Coast of the United States and the states of Ohio and Michigan.  For more info visit:  https://www.bjs.com/

The Lady Lake Farmer’s Market previously held in front of the Log Cabin South US Hwy 441/27 on Tuesdays has moved to the soccer fields on Rolling Acres Road.

The Farmshed will be replacing Too Jays in Spanish Springs. Plans are still on track to open this spring/summer for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Don’t forget to be very careful driving through the construction for the widening of Hwy 441/27 through Lady Lake.  With all the orange cones it is sometimes hard to know where the lanes change and some of the usual left turns are blocked.
