According to our records, your VHA membership expired this past month. At a busy time like this, it is easy to overlook some things, but we sure would like to have you stay with The VHA!
At only $25 for two years or $100 for a lifetime, all residents of your household can help The VHA provide educational programming for residents, advocate on members’ behalf in dealing with district or local government and emergency services, offer free loan of durable medical equipment to Villagers through VHA Helping Hands, and deliver micro-grants to local non-profits who help residents and neighbors in need.
In addition, you get to participate in educational and social activities like these:
- Date – VHA Residents Night at Mulberry Grove Rec Center, featuring Marion and Lake County and Town of Lady Lake government entities. Learn how to interact with the east and north regions of The Villages.
- March 14 – VHA’s New Residents Night at La Hacienda Rec Center, featuring Sumter and District governments and other organizations serving The Villages. Even if you attended this program years ago, things have changed, and it’s great to get caught up.
- April 17 – VHA Presents All About Community Watch at Savannah Center, featuring Chief Nehemiah Wolf telling us about the many services that Community Watch provides to residents and answers your questions. VHA membership required.
- May 10 – VHA’s Night with the Developer at The Sharon, featuring Mark Morse and members of The Villages executive leadership providing glimpses into the near future. Tickets may only be accessed by VHA members at the box office.
- July 11 – VHA’s New Residents Night at La Hacienda Rec Center, featuring Sumter and District governments and other organizations serving The Villages. Even if you attended this program years ago, things have changed, and it’s great to get caught up.
- July 17 – VHA’s Secure in Your Home at La Hacienda Rec Center, featuring Lake County, Lady Lake, and District Government, law enforcement and emergency services, telling us about Villages-focused services that help you live a safe and healthy lifestyle in your home. VHA members only.
- July 25 – VHA Bingo Night at La Hacienda. Bingo comes to the North Area! Join the fun for $10 to play two boards. VHA members get one free extra board, and additional boards and 50/50 tickets can be purchased for a chance to win and to support VHA’s philanthropic programs.
- September 21 – VHA Bingo Night at La Hacienda. Bingo returns to the North Area! Join the fun for $10 to play two boards. VHA members get one free extra board, and additional boards and 50/50 tickets can be purchased for a chance to win and to support VHA’s philanthropic programs.
- October 16 – VHA presents New Generation Home Entertainment at the Savannah Center, providing VHA members with the information needed to decide whether and how to break away from traditional cable or satellite services. Members only.
These are just the programs in the North Area. As a VHA member you can also attend those held in the Central, South, and Far South areas. For many of our programs, VHA membership is required. This is how we can afford to produce the broad range and frequency of programming.
