Veterans Organizations 2010
There are many new residents who have moved into our area in the last year. Many of them are veterans. They have belonged to military organizations where they came from. Many of us like to continue to meet locally with veterans who have similar interests and experiences. This article is to give you a place to go that will keep you up to date with what is going on in the veteran's community. We have much to be thankful for as veterans in this great country of ours and can be proud of the time we spent serving our country. There are many organizations that meet regularly to provide fellowship and information for veterans. We need them and they need us. Join them and add your experience to the group.
Since leadership and meeting schedules are subject to change, this column will periodically bring you updates of as much information as I currently have. I hope it is helpful to you. This listing is an update of most of the known veterans' organizations in and around tri-county area. The list may not be complete and may have mistakes in it. MORE: Remember if you are retired from one of the services, Patrick Air Force Base has a satellite office at the Lake County sheriff's offices at La Grande Blvd.
