Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I view a listing of the nearly 1800 clubs and activities in The Villages?

An alphabetical listing of Clubs with Club Contacts is listed as Resident Lifestyle Volunteer Information in the Recreation Department – Quick Links, under “Department” on the District Government Website: www.districtgov.org.  Load your printer if you’re going to print the list because the listing is currently 90 pages long.

What District am I in?

The easiest means of identifying your Community Development District is from the home page of the District Government website (www.districtgov.org).  From the Quick Links column, click the Street Listing tab and locate your street alphabetically to find your CDD District, along with your county and Unit Number.

How can I get information about my bond?

From the District Government website, click the tab “How Do I?” and select “Obtain Bond Information”.  For an amortization schedule, you’ll need your County, District and Unit Number.  Your Unit and Lot numbers are located on your Villages’ Resident ID Card (e.g. U/L  #S00.111).

Can my Amenity Fee be increased?

Your Amenity Fee may only be increased (or decreased) by the terms of your Amenity Agreement, which sets the base amount typically adjusted up (or down) annually by the change in the Consumer Price Index.

Is Executive Golf really free for life?

Yes, greens fees on the Executive Golf Courses are free for life for Villagers.  Villagers do pay a trail fee (currently $132 annually plus tax per household, or $99 with a Priority Membership) for use of their golf carts instead of carry bags or pull a cart.  Additionally, a portion of the monthly amenity fees paid by Villagers is for Executive Golf Course maintenance, along with all of the other amenity and recreation facilities, such as Recreation Centers, swimming pools, tennis and pickleball courts, etc.

How can I get a copy of my deed restrictions?

From the District Government website, click the tab “How Do I?” and select “Download My Deed Restrictions”.  For the download, you’ll need your County, District and Unit Number.  Your Unit and Lot numbers are located on your Villages’ Resident ID Card (e.g. U/L  #S00.111).
